Fonterra will arrange and coordinate all accommodation and flights, including transfers from and to Auckland Airport. The transfers will be coordinated with others attending the conference so there may be a short wait for you at the airport whilst other flights arrive.
All accommodation will be twin-share. Let us know the name of the person you wish to share the room with when registering, and we will endeavour to accommodate your request. If you don’t specify someone to share a room with, you will be paired with another farmer of the same gender.
For those attendees that are driving and require accommodation; parking will be available at your hotel, at your cost. A shuttle or bus will be provided to conference activities from your hotel.
Any incidentals such as laundry, mini bar or room service are not covered in the conference fee - these need to be paid for on departure. The hotel may ask you to register a credit card with them upon your arrival to cover these incidentals.
If you register but are later unable to attend or wish to make substitutions to attendees from your farm, please let the conference organisers know by emailing MyConnect@fonterra.com as soon as possible.
It is your responsibility to arrange any travel insurances in connection with your attendance at the Conference. Fonterra will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property.
You will also have the option to purchase NZDIA 2021 National Awards Dinner tickets at the same time. The National Awards dinner takes place on Saturday 15 May 2021 at the Claudelands Events Centre in Hamilton. The ticket price is $204.53 inclusive of GST. If you select this option, you will be responsible for your own accommodation from Tuesday 11 May onwards. We can arrange your flight home following the NZDIA event if you choose the “Return flights, accommodation and two-day conference pass.”
