Terms & Conditions

As you’d expect with an event like this, there are a few terms and conditions we need to cover off.

The safety of people is our number one priority, so we’ll kick the conference off with a Health and Safety briefing. Doing this ensures we’re true to Fonterra’s Health and Safety Policy. Please comply with all reasonable health and safety requests made by the conference organisers.

Any incidentals such as breakfast, laundry, mini bar or room service, are not covered in the conference fee and need to be paid for by you. The hotel may ask you to register a credit card with them upon your arrival to cover any such costs.

Fonterra will only be able to refund registration fees for cancellations advised before 5pm on Friday 23 April 2021.  Farmers who cancel after this date or do not attend the event will not receive a refund.

It is your responsibility to arrange any travel insurances in connection with your attendance at the Conference. Fonterra will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property.

If the Conference is cancelled for reasons beyond our control (including restrictions related to COVID-19), a full refund will be provided to those registered and Fonterra will provide as much advance notice as possible.

Every effort will be made to offer speakers and breakout activities as advertised. However, Fonterra reserves the right to change the Conference programme, speakers or activities without notice.

Once your travel arrangements have been confirmed, there will be a non-refundable amendment fee should you make any changes to your flights or accommodation dates. Changes to your flights & accommodation will incur a cost of $92.00 per person, and changes to your accommodation only will incur a cost of $34.50 per person.

The charge on your credit card statement will appear as READYROOMS NZ.  This is the name associated with the online purchasing portal of GO Conference & Incentive who, along with our Corporate Travel partner APX sit under the helloworld Travel umbrella, and are assisting in the organisation of the My Connect Conference. 

Fonterra’s Events Team may be taking photos at My Connect These images may be used by Fonterra to share news about My Connect, and to publicise our Co-operative. Images may be used in press releases, printed publicity and published on Fonterra’s social channels. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please email MyConnect@fonterra.com.

Views expressed by the speakers are their own. Fonterra accepts no liability for advice given, views expressed, or material provided by any speaker during the Conference.

Fonterra needs to collect personal information from farmers in order to run the conference and organise associated travel arrangements. Your personal information will be held by Fonterra for the purposes of the conference and contacting you about similar events in the future. Your information may be shared with partners of Fonterra solely for the purposes of organising the Conference.
